From Sunday April 21st, Fajr will change to 5:15 am and Maghrib to 8:00 pm

• Community is encouraged to fast 6 days during the month of Shawwal.4

• Starting today, we’re resuming the Tajweed classes on Friday at 7:00 PM, followed by Maghreb then Quran recitation correction.

• Daarul Uloom Islamic School is looking for Quran teachers to teach in its Quran Academy from 3:15 – 5:45pm. Interested candidates can send their resume to hr@dupeoria.org

• Alhamdulillah, we had a very successful basketball tournament for youth and adults this past weekend of April 13th & April 14th.
  MashaAllah, we had 70 players participated in the tournament.
  Winner and runner up team details have been sent via email. Congratulations to them.
  We want to say Jazakallahu Khairan to all the organizing team volunteers and sponsors. May Allah accept their efforts in bringing our youth together in fun-filled competitive tournament.

• Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) Annual Cricket Tournament will be on May 4th Insha’Allah.

• Illinois Muslim Advocacy Day is scheduled for May 1st in Springfield. This event offers Illinois Muslims an opportunity to address Muslim-related concerns with State Legislative Leaders. We strongly urge community members to join in. Flyers containing additional details are available at the main entrance.
