1. Current Iqama times

• Imam Salman Fallatah is on vacation. He will be back in January first week Insha’Allah .

• Tonight  Friday December 6th, we will have first Friday of the month community dinner hosted by families from Jordan and Palestine Insha’Allah.

  Dinner will start at 6:30pm Insha’Allah, followed by Dars after Isha by Imam Mazhar on topic of ”The Blessings and Importance of Populating Masajid”

• ICP Executive Committee election will be on Sunday, December 15th.

  We have two Executive Committee members completing their terms:

  • Br Osama Alrefai
  • Br Shaji Siddiqui

  The current Executive Committee members continuing into 2025 Insha’Allah are:

  • Br Amer Radaideh
  • Br Asim Uzzaman
  • Br Muhammad Yousaf

  May الله سبحان وتعالى reward and bless all these brothers for dedicating their time and effort for the community. And may الله سبحان وتعالى reward their families who had to sacrifice lot of family time every week to let them work for the community.

   

  We are requesting ICP members to nominate 2 candidates who they think will be able to give their time and commitment Insha’Allah for the next 2 years.

   

  Nominations can be submitted between Sunday, December 1st to Monday, December 9th.

  Nomination forms are available in the Masjid. Please complete and turn in your nomination form in any of the slots of the donation box.

  Members of the 2024 Election Committee are:

  • Br Hassan Brik
  • Br Mustafizur Rahman
  • Br Rammagy Yoeu

  As per ICP constitution:
  Anyone who has been a member for more than six months and is in good standing may nominate, vote, and run in the elections.

  Members may not nominate themselves for candidacy. Good Standing members list has already been posted at ICP.

  Members are encouraged to nominate candidates based on the following qualifications:

  • A religious person possessing fear of Allah and good conduct,
  • A person who makes an effort to offer the obligatory prayers in congregation in the Masjid,
  • A person who is committed to community service, and
  • A person who has lived in Peoria for at least six months prior to nomination.
  • Members of the Election Committee are not eligible to run for election.

  Br Shaji Siddiqui, who is completing two consecutive terms is not eligible for nomination this year.

• Daarul Uloom Islamic School will be Insha’Allah conducting SAT prep classes for all our community students in 8th grade and up on Saturdays, beginning December 7th, 2024 and ending on May 10th, 2025 from 7am-9am at the Islamic Center of Peoria.

• Hafs Quran Memorization Center classes are held every Friday from 6:30-9pm Insha’Allah.

• Noor Al Huda Weekend School classes are held every Sunday from 10am-1:30pm Insha’Allah.

• Boys Soccer is on every Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30pm Insha’Allah

  Boys Basketball is on every Wednesday, from 7:30 to 9pm Insha’Allah

• Sr Ameena Patel, daughter of Br Aiyub Patel and Sr Farzeen Patel got married to Br Amin last week Alhamdulillah.

  May Allah bless the couple and give them all the good of this duniya and hereafter Ameen.

• Father of Br Shaji Siddiqui is sick and in the hospital.May Allah give him and all sick of our ummah speedy recovery Ameen.

• Grandmother of Sr Farzeen Patel passed away in Chicago. May الله سبحان وتعالى forgive her sins, grant her highest place in jannah, and grant patience to all family members آمين يا رب
