Ramadan Iqama Times will be:

• Imam Salman is on vacation from February 7th to 14th.

• Ramadan will start on either Wednesday February 18th, or Thursday February 19th as per Chicago Hilal Committee.
  First Taraweeh could be potentially on Tuesday, February 18th.

• We will be hosting Iftar/Dinners 3 days every week at ICP on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for all community Insha’Allah. From Monday to Thursday, Iftar/Dinner will be held at MSA Bradley Masjid for students and singles Insha’Allah
  Dinner coordinators have been assigned for each of these days. Schedule and Coordinators list has been sent via email and also posted on Masjid website.
  Everyone is encouraged to participate with one of the host groups as per your convenience. Suggested contribution is $200 or whatever amount easy for you. You can contact any of the host groups or send email to ICP Activities Chair Br Asim Uzzaman (activities@icpeoria.org) or Zelle your contribution to treasurer@icpeoria.org and put in memo Ramadan Iftar .

• Insha’Allah on Sunday February 15th, we will be doing Masjid, Gym, and Basement Community Hall cleanup in preparation of Ramadan.
  Cleaning will start immediately after Dhohar (1:30pm) and estimated to be complete by 4:30pm Insha’Allah. If more volunteers show up, it will be much faster Insha’Allah.
  If you have left any of your belongings in Masjid, please take it before Sunday Dhohar as everything will be cleaned out after Dhohar .

• We are working on forming a volunteer team of brothers and sisters for Ramadan activities. You can volunteer in food serving, kids activities, youth activities, Musalla management, security, or cleaning.
  Interested brothers/youth can contact ICP Activities Chair Br Asim Uzzaman, and sisters/youth can contact ICP Sisters Committee Chair Sr Khawla AlQudah.

• Last Friday, detailed update was given to community on the need for expanding the Parking Lot in front of sister’s entrance, adding Additional Exit Lane, and having an Outdoor Fenced Play Area.
  Presentation details have been sent by email, and is also posted on our website.

• Peoria Muslim Community along with the Muslim Students Association of Dunlap and Richwoods high schools is organizing a Dawah Iftar and Dinner for the educators (teachers and staff) on February 25th, Wednesday at ICP. If you would like to invite a teacher or staff to this event please contact Imam Salman or Imam Mazhar or brother Osama Alrefai for the registration link. February 25th is the last day to register.
  Please note, attendance in this event is by invitation only and not open to all the community members.
  Donation for the event can be sent via zelle to “treasurer@icpeoria.org“.

• Hafs Quran Memorization Classes are being held on Saturdays(for Ramadan) from 2:00-4:00 pm.
  Noor AlHuda Weekend School is being held on Sundays from 10am to 1:30pm.

• Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) weekly Sunday Soccer session for boys and Boxing class for sisters & girls concluded on Sunday February 8th.
  Insha’Allah we will resume organized sporting activities after Ramadan.
  We would like to say JazakAllahu khayran to all the coaches and volunteers for their time, support, guidance, and positive impact on our kids and youth. May Allah accept your efforts. Ameen!

• Br Badr Kadiri and his wife have been blessed with a boy Alhamdulillah. They named him Zayd Rami Kadiri.
  Br Shahnawaz Shaikh and Sr Azra Khan have been blessed with a girl Alhamdulillah.
  They named her Fatima Shaikh.
  May Allah give Zayd and Fatima all the goodness of this duniya and hereafter ,Ameen !

•  Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioun
  Sister Thuwayba Affifi’s mother passed away in Egypt.
  There will be sisters only condolence gathering at ICP Basement Community Hall tonight Friday February 13th from 6 to 8pm Insha’Allah
