- Potential Imam Visit to ICP – June 27th to June 30th Insha’AllahAs we continue our Imam search, the ICP Executive Committee and Advisory Board interviewed and selected Imam Salman Fallatah as a potential candidate for Imam at ICP Insha’Allah.
Imam Salman Fallatah has been invited to visit us for a in-person interview from Thursday, June 27th to Sunday June 30th Insha’Allah.
During this time he will be giving Juma Khutba, Friday night lecture, hold interactive sessions with children, youth, sisters, and khatiras after Fajr and Isha Insha’Allah.
We encourage community members to attend these sessions, and provide feedback to ICP leadership before the final decision.

- We will be having community dinner on next Friday, June 28th after Asr during Imam Salman’s visit Insha’Allah.
- Helping Hand (HHRD) in coordination with Islamic Center of Peoria (ICP) will be holding another clothing drive today, Friday, June 21st from 2PM to 4PM Insha’Allah.All clothes must be dropped off directly in the truck which will be in ICP parking lot during this time. Donation of $20 to Helping Hand is requested to cover shipping costs.
- We are collecting Udhiya meat to distribute to the needy families and individuals of our community. Any extra meat after distributing within locally will be sent over to relief organization(s) in Chicago area ان شاء الله.Meat can be dropped off in freezers at ICP or IFP community halls ان شاء الله.
Last day to drop off meat is Saturday, June 22nd by Dhuhur Salah.
- Sisters’ swimming classes at River City gym will be resuming from Sunday, June 23rd, from 3-5 PM Insha’Allah.Registration and advance payment are required; no walk-ins allowed. Details have been sent via email.
