This form is part of a community-supported Islamic matrimonial facilitation effort under the guidance of local Imams. It is not a matchmaking service, but a means of helping individuals and families who seek marriage in a manner compliant with the Qurʾān, Sunnah, upon the methodology of the Ṣaḥābah. This endeavor is solely for the pleasure of Allah to facilitate the joining of hearts without any worldly benefits.


Data Privacy & Confidentiality
• All information submitted in this form will be treated as strictly confidential. No part of this form or its contents will be shared outside the facilitation process without the applicant’s prior consent.
• The Imams will take all actions reasonably necessary to protect personal information and will comply with all applicable state or federal data protection legislation.
• Applicants agree to keep confidential and private, and not to disclose: any profile information presented to them in relation to a potential introduction; or any communications with Imams or potential candidates and their families or associates in connection with this matrimonial facilitation process.

 

Process Overview
• Once a form is submitted, the Imams will review it to identify potentially compatible individuals based on religious values, family considerations, and personal preferences.
• If a potential candidate is identified, both families will be formally contacted and provided with basic profile information to begin the discussion process.
• Any introductions will take place in accordance with Islamic principles.
• No private or informal communication without Sharʿī oversightwill be facilitated by the Imams.
• The Imams will not host or manage meetings. This matrimonial facilitation effort is merely a community resource.
• The role of the Imams is solely facilitative. They will not perform background checks or screenings, which are the sole responsibility of the applicants.
• Neither ICP nor IFP, nor any of their Imams or volunteers, bear any liability for the outcome of the marriage process, whether successful or otherwise.
• The individuals and families involved have the sole responsibility to perform due diligence, ask necessary questions, and make decisions through duʿāʾ, Istikhārah, and family consultation.
• Neither ICP nor IFP, nor any of their Imams or volunteers, guarantee compatibility, nor will they intervene in any personal, emotional, legal, or financial issues that may arise before, during,or after marriage.
• Imams reserve the right to decline to provide matrimonial facilitation to any applicant for any reason. The Imams do not provide any guarantee whatsoever that a spousal candidate can or will be identified. Results will vary.

 

In-Person Conduct
The Imams are committed to the safety and welfare of all community members and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent or illegal behavior. Applicants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful manner when interacting with any suggested individual, family members, other associates, or Masājid personnel.

 

Indemnification
The applicant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ICP, IFP, and their respective Imams, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) or other expenses that arise directly or indirectly from the applicant’s activities in connection with the matrimonial facilitation process, including individual relationship choices made by applicants after an introduction is provided through the process. This indemnity shall be applicable without regard to the negligence of any party, including any indemnified party.


Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL ICP OR IFP OR THEIR RESPECTIVE IMAMS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OR VOLUNTEERS BE LIABLE TO THE APPLICANT FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGES, PHYSICAL DAMAGES, PHYSICAL INJURIES, OR EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL DISTRESS OR INJURIES). The applicant hereby waives any claim or any right to seek damages that might arise from any or all actions, intentional or unintentional, whether of omission or commission, or the negligence of ICP or IFP and/or their respective Imams, employees, representatives, or agents. This waiver extends to any claims arising out of the applicant’s matrimonial facilitation activities and to any damages arising out of communications, contact, and meetings with other individuals, including without limitation, intentional, criminal, negligent, or grossly negligent acts of other individuals introduced or referred to the applicant by Imams.
IMAMS DO NOT VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION, INCLUDING AGE, LOCATION, OR OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OTHER INDIVIDUALS THEY MAY INTRODUCE TO YOU. Imams do not verify the representations, warranties, or statements, or vouch for the character, of any individual they may introduce to applicants. The applicant agrees that he/she shall assume all risks involved with social interactions with individuals Imams may introduce to him/her.
The applicant understands the potential dangers that could occur in meeting with individuals introduced by Imams. Understanding the risks, the applicant hereby represents and warrants that he/she releases ICP and IFP and all their respective representatives, employees, and anyone else directly or indirectly connected with the Masājid, from any liability in the event of any injury or damage of any kind to the applicant or anyone else caused by meeting with people through this matrimonial facilitation process.
The applicant understands that ICP and IFP carry no public liability insurance. ICP and IFP make no representations or warranties, either express or implied, as to: the conduct of introduced individuals or their compatibility with any current or future applicants; the accuracy or authenticity of the information furnished by other applicants; or the fitness of any individual for any purpose whatsoever.

 

Disclaimer of Warranty
Imams provide the matrimonial facilitation process on an “as is” basis and grant no warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, in any communication with the Masājid or their representatives, or otherwise with respect to the matrimonial facilitation process. ICP and IFP and their Imams specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We ask Allāh ﷻ to bless every participant in this noble effort with sincerity, wisdom, and a righteous spouse. May this process be a source of goodness, barakah, and joy for the individuals, families, and the entire Ummah.
