- Short Khatirah every night after Maghrib and Isha prayers In shā Allāh. Please join us for Salah and benefit from Khatirah too ان شاء اللہ(In shā Allāh)
- Jazakallah Khair all community members for filling Covid 19 survey for masjid attendance.
About 131 households (378 people) responded back, showing, Alhumdulillah, a vaccination rate of about 88%
As you are all aware, there has unfortunately been a very significant and worrying spike in COVID-19 cases, both nationally as well as locally. What is most disturbing is that younger people are getting infected at a higher rate.
After meetings with local Imams, physicians, and legal expert, the Executive Committee of ICP and Shura of IFP, have therefore decided, in the best interest of the safety of all congregants, to continue with all current mitigation measures, for atleast one more month, which include: Mandatory face masks for ALL, covering the nose and mouth fully – irrespective of anyone’s immunization status.
-
- Continue to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet while praying
- Praying on one’s own prayer mat / rug
- No food inside the buildings premises
- Avoiding hugs / handshakes
- Not coming to the masjid if you or anyone in your household is or has been sick in the last 14 days or has been exposed to a known case of COVID-19
- Trying your best to make Wudu at home before coming to the masjid.
We will revisit our policy after one week from 09/06/2021, Monday, Labor Day ان شاء اللہ(In shā Allāh)
Please note that the situation is being monitored very closely and any changes to our pandemic related policies will be communicated to the community in a timely manner.
