- Eid-ul-Adha will be on Saturday, July 9th.
Insha’Allah we will be holding Eid prayers at 7am and 9am here at ICP.
9am Salat will be followed by brunch. Please bring 2 dishes to share: one for sisters and one for brothers. Sisters will eat in the Basement Banquet Hall, and Brothers will eat in the Gym
Donation of $20 per family or $10 per single towards Eid expenses is requested at the doors as a contribution towards Eid expenses
- For 9am Salah, there has always been a traffic jam on Charter Oak Road starting from 8:50AM as Community members try to get into Islamic Center of Peoria.
For smooth flow of traffic into Islamic Center of Peoria premises for Eid Salah at 9:00AM, PLEASE arrive at 8:30AM so as to give enough time to park and enter the Musallah. Brothers coming without families can use back entrance gate which will be open on Eid day.

- There will be kids fun on run games activities at IFP, Masjid Salam from 3-6pm Insha’Allah on Eid day. Parents have to be with the kids during this activity
- At the same time 3-6pm, right next door to IFP at Mt Hawley Bowling, we will have bowling for youth and families Insha’Allah. You can go back n forth between 2 places.
- Eid dinner will be at ICP on Eid evening Insha’Allah. Asr Iqama on Eid evening will be at 7pm, followed by dinner, and concluding with Maghrib at 8:40pm. Donation of $30 per family or $10 per single is requested at door to cover expenses
- We are collecting Udhiya meat to distribute to the needy families and individuals of our community. Any extra meat after distributing within locally will be sent over to relief organization(s) in Chicago area ان شاء الله.
Meat can be dropped off in freezers at ICP or IFP community halls ان شاء الله.
Last day to drop off meat is Saturday, July 23rd by Dhuhur Salah.
- Daarul Uloom Summer Camp second session will be from July 19-28 Insha’Allah. Registration and other details have been sent via email, and forms are available in lobby
- We will not be having womens sports for the next two Sundays (July 10 and 17). We will be resuming July 24 Inshallah.
- Alhumdulillah, Mrs & Mr Ashraf Syed were blessed with a baby boy on Friday 1st July’22 (1st Dhu al-Hijjah). MashaAllah, both mom and baby are doing well. They have named him Ahmed Syed.
- Request to make dua that Allah SWT Grant the newborn a long, happy, healthy life, give him all the success of duniya and hereafter, and make him coolness of his parents eyes. (امِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ)
