- Insha’Allah tonight Friday, December 1st, we will have first Friday of the month community dinner @ 6:30pm. Dinner is being hosted by ICP Administration and few other community members. After Isha there will be Insha’Allah a lecture on “Significance of Masjid AlAlqsa in Islam”. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
- Caterpillar is providing a limited-time 2:1 donation match for all Caterpillar employees for donation made to Daarul Uloom Islamic School. Today December 1st is last date for the 2:1 matching program. All Caterpillar employees are encouraged to take advantage of this program and donate to Daarul Uloom today. Details have been sent via email. Please contact Daarul Uloom treasurer Br Mustafizur Rahman if you have any questions.
- Insha’Allah we will have ICP Executive Committee election on Sunday, December 17th.
We have three Executive Committee members completing their terms:

• Br Mohammed Ikram
The current Executive Committee members continuing into 2024 are

May الله سبحان وتعالى reward and bless all these brothers for dedicating their time and effort for the community. And may الله سبحان وتعالى reward their families who had to sacrifice lot of family time every week to let them work for the community.
We are requesting ICP members to nominate 3 candidates, who they think will be able to give their time and commitment Insha’Allah for the next 2 years, to fill the 3 open positions.
Nominations can be submitted between Friday, December 1st to Sunday, December 10th.
Nomination forms are available in the Masjid. Please complete and turn in your nomination form in any of the slots of the donation ‘
box.

As per ICP constitution:
• Anyone who has been a member for more than six months and is in good standing may nominate, vote, and run in the
elections. Members may not nominate themselves for candidacy. Good Standing members list has already been posted at ICP.
• Members are encouraged to nominate candidates based on the following qualifications:
1. A religious person possessing fear of Allah and good conduct,
2. A person who makes an effort to offer the obligatory prayers in congregation in the Masjid,
3. A person who is committed to community service, and
4. A person who has lived in Peoria for at least six months prior to nomination.
• Members of the Election Committee are not eligible to run for election.
• Br Ikram Mohammed, who is completing two consecutive terms is not eligible for nomination this year.
- Tajweed class starting Dec 8, 2023 every Friday from 7:00-7:30 pm and then recitation practice after Isha prayer. Registration is required. More details will be sent via email.
- Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) Annual Volleyball Tournament will be on December 16 and 17 Insha’Allah. Registration details details have been sent via email. For any questions, pls contact PMC Chair Br Saleem Khan.
- Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) Sisters sports activities are being held at ICP Gym on Sunday’s from 4:30-6pm Insha’Allah. Please contact Sr Ameena Patel for more details.
- Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) Boys Basketball is being held on Wednesday’s from 7:30 to 9pm, and Soccer is bring held on Sunday’s from 1:30 to 3:30pm Insha’Allah.
- Abdul Irfan brother of Mohammed Ikram has undergone surgery this week, he is recovering Alhamdulillah. May Allah give Shifa to him and all sick of our ummah Ameen.
