Imam Salman is on vacation. He will be back May 13th Insha’Allah. During Imams vacation, there will be a short Khatira every night after Isha by our community volunteers. May Allah accept from them Ameen. Imam has already assigned our community Huffaz to lead prayers.

Tonight, Friday May 1st, we will have our First Friday of the month community dinner Insha’Allah.  For convenience of attendees, just for today Asr Iqama will be at 6:30pm, followed by dinner. After Maghrib there will be Parking Lot Project Update followed by Dars by Br Osama Alrefai Insha’Allah.

Tomorrow, Saturday May 2nd, ICP Sisters Committee will be hosting an event regarding “Sacred Months” for our Youth Girls and Sisters Insha’Allah. It will be from 2 to 5pm Insha’Allah. There will be fun activities and snacks. Registration and program details has been sent via email .

 Next 2 weekends (May 9th and 16th) on Saturdays and Sundays we will have a “Learn and Play” activity for our boys ages 5 to 13 focussing on “Dhul Hujjah” Insha’Allah. It will be after Dhohar till 2:30pm insha’Allah. Registration and program details has been sent via email .

Alhamdulillah, we had a very successful Peoria Muslim Club Annual Basketball tournament for our Children, Youth and Adults this past weekend on April 25th & April 26th.

Masha’Allah, we had 90+ players participated in this fun filled, yet competitive tournament.

Congratulations to all winning and runners up teams, Allahuma Barik. Their names have been sent via email.

We would like to say Jazakallah Khairan to our Organizing team and to all our Muslim owned businesses/Sponsors of the tournament. May Allah accept their efforts and put Barakah in thei health, time, families, and wealth Ameen.

Imam Salman will be holding an Islamic will workshop on Sunday May 17^th after Dhuhr Salah, registration and details will be sent via email.

 Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) weekly Archery Class for our sisters and girls ages 12+ will be ending on May 9 Insha’Allah.

 Based on sister’s request, Peoria Muslim Club (PMC) will be starting another 5 week session of Boxing class for sisters ages 16+, which will be a fun intro to the basics of boxing along with self defense techniques taught by a female coach in the ICP gym Insha’Allah. Class will be held from 4 to 5:30pm on Sundays from May 10 to June 14 Insha’Allah. Registration details has been sent via email. For any questions, please contact Sr Nada Naffakh.

Br Talha and his wife have been blessed with a boy Alhamdulillah. They named him Muhammad. May Allah give Muhammad all the goodness of this duniya and hereafter .Ameen!
