- Eid Al-Adha will be on Sunday June 16th as per announcement by Saudi Arabia.We will have Salat at 7am and 9am at ICP Insha’Allah.For 9am Salah please come by 8:30 am to avoid traffic.
- There will be brunch and kids games after 9:00am Salat Insha’Allah.For brunch, please bring for both brothers and sisters side any of following suggested items: Sandwiches, Bagels, Croissants, Fruits, Donuts, Tea, Coffee, Juice, etc.Games section of gym is reserved for sisters, girls and boys under 12 years.Donation requested at door to cover expenses is $20 per family or $10 per single.
Please Note: Gym and Basement Banquet Hall will be off limits starting today, Friday evening till Sunday morning due to Eid setup.
- There will be bowling for all community Insha’Allah on Eid day from 345 to 645pm @ Mt Hawley bowling center next to IFP, Masjid Salam.
- Eid dinner will be on Eid evening at IFP, Masjid Salam after Asr Insha’Allah. Asr will be 7pm on Eid day.Donation requested at door to cover dinner expenses are $30 per family or $10 per single.We will Insha’Allah also have balloonist for kids during dinner.
- We are collecting Udhiya meat to distribute to the needy families and individuals of our community. Any extra meat after distributing within locally will be sent over to relief organization(s) in Chicago area ان شاء الله.Meat can be dropped off in freezers at ICP or IFP community halls ان شاء الله.Last day to drop off meat is Saturday, June 22nd by Dhuhur Salah.
- Imam Salman Fallatah who is being considered as a potential Imam at ICP will be visiting our community on June 28th and June 29th Insha’Allah. More details will be sent out next week Insha’Allah.
- Helping Hand (HHRD) in coordination with Islamic Center of Peoria (ICP) will be holding another clothing drive on Friday, June 21st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Insha’Allah.All clothes must be dropped off directly in the truck which will be in ICP parking parking lot during this time. Please refer to email for details.
- Sisters’ swimming classes at River City gym will be resuming from Sunday, June 23rd, from 3-5 PM Insha’Allah.Registration and advance payment are required; no walk-ins allowed. Details have been sent via email.
